I feel lucky to have spent this entire Earth Day outdoors. I was watering the garden, re-potting some plants and soaking up the addictive sunshine. The breeze was so sweet today. It was like a refreshing whisper as I worked outside. The azalea in my front yard kept snagging my attention away from some of the other plants. It is in full bloom and magnificent.
I made a few floral arrangements in small clear cube vases that were simple and beautiful. I used a mixture of a few of my favorites.
The yellow alstroemeria, pink wax flower, pink tulips, seeded eucalyptus, myrtle and curly willow combine into sweet little arrangements. The pastel colors are a great fit for this time of year. I hope that you were able to embrace the Earth and the beauty it gives to us today. Appreciate the natural things, they are the only things promised each year.
